Osvaldo Ramirez Castillo draws allegorical narratives of historical, cultural and personal experience, engaging with the memories of loss and violence that marked El Salvador during the civil war. Markus Merkle is occupied with pieces of disalignment on different cultural levels. His work, consisting of fragmented pieces, also represents a holistic cosmos, influenced by elements from travels, spirituality and music.
